About
Microsoft MVP · SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Specialist
I'm the person organisations call when SharePoint needs to actually work. For over 20 years I've worked inside real Microsoft 365 environments — building solutions that hold up in practice, not just in demos.
I'm a Microsoft MVP recognised for my contributions to the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 community. I write, teach, consult, and build — and I've been doing it longer than most people have been using SharePoint.
My Story
I started working with SharePoint before most people knew what it was. Back then, the challenge was getting people to use it at all. Now the challenge is different — organisations have been using it for years, and the result is often a sprawling, ungoverned, confusing digital environment that nobody trusts and Copilot can't make sense of.
Over two decades I've worked with organisations of every size — from small teams to large enterprises across multiple industries and countries. I've built intranets, document management systems, governance frameworks, and Copilot-ready environments. I've trained thousands of users and consulted on projects that ranged from "we need to tidy this up" to "we need to start from scratch."
What I've learned is that most SharePoint problems aren't technical. They're structural. They come from building features before defining purpose, from skipping governance, from never deciding who owns what. The technology is fine. The approach is the problem.
That's why I built The Modern SharePoint System — a six-stage implementation method that takes organisations from messy and ungoverned to structured, purposeful, and Copilot-ready. It's everything I've learned, in the order it should be applied.
I'm also a writer, a podcast host, and a community builder. I believe that the people who work with Microsoft 365 every day deserve better resources than they get — practical, real-world guidance that actually reflects how organisations work. That's what Simply SharePoint is for.
Areas of Expertise
What I'm known for
I don't do vague. I don't do "it depends" without a framework. I've spent 20+ years developing opinions about what works and what doesn't — and I share them plainly.
I represent women in technology and bring a perspective that's often missing from the Microsoft ecosystem — experienced, practical, and not afraid to say when something is unnecessarily complicated.
My readers, listeners, and learners are spread across the globe. They're SharePoint administrators, IT managers, business analysts, and knowledge workers who want to build something that actually works — and lasts.
